With Patch the Pirate

On Tuesday, the 17th, I drove up to Hammond, Indiana to First Baptist Church to hear Pastor Sexton speak at Pastor's School. A van of staff men drove up to encourage our pastor. The Lord used his message in a great way. Just before the beginning of the service, I noticed Patch the Pirate. A friend of mine snapped this photo for me.

I remember listening to Captain Patch on old long-play records. Titles like Patch the Pirate Goes West and Patch the Pirate Goes to Space. Now, my little ones listen to him on CDs. God has used the truth in story and song to reinforce what we are trying to teach our children.

At Church Services

Here are a few photos from Sunday morning services. The sun was in their eyes, so that is why the squinting. The girls love being with "their sister". It is pleasing as a parent to watch them dote over the new addition to the family. Mommy is doing well. We are grateful for the Lord's goodness to us.

Allie with Her Sisters

Allie is doing well and Jocelyn is getting in the rhythm of caring for the three little ladies. Both girls have been more than helpful with everything around the house and with their new sister. People at church have been so gracious and kind in making meals and so many other ways. We are so blessed! Hope your day is a great one.

Faithful Men's Meeting

I know, I know...nobody wants to see my ugly mug at this stage in the game. Why are there no photos of baby Allie? Well....I have taken quite a few photos and need to edit them before I post more. So, here I am. These photos were taken at our recent Faithful Men's Meeting. The photo above is me with Adel, a friend I met in Baghdad in 2003. He remembered me and still got a kick out of my limited Arabic.
