Abbie at the Door

Recently, I was working in my office when I heard the door handle jiggling. I turned to see Abigail enter the office to give me a kiss! As it turned out, she made it her business to come in and out all evening. I armed myself with my camera and determined to catch her when she came in next. This is the result.

I am so grateful for my family! God has blessed me with a wonderful wife and two wonderful little girls! Katie's turn to solo will be another day this week. Thank you for stopping by today!

The Reward (Video)

We are working with Abbie to be potty-trained. She is doing very well. As a reward, we give her M&Ms to teach her the "right thing" to do. Sunday night, we ran out of rewards, so Daddy and Abbie went to the store to pick up some more. As we walked through the store, she was so proud of her M&Ms! I just had to pull out my phone and video her. Thanks for stopping by today!

Our Sweet Little Ladies

All week, I have been thinking of how quickly time passes. It seems like just yesterday that I was a little boy running around the woods. Now, I am a grown man with the responsibility of caring for my wonderful family. Time passes so quickly! We must take advantage of the moments we have. Hurry and business crowds out so much of what is good in our lives. Take pictures of your family...soon they will be grown. Give your wife or husband a sloppy kiss and express your love for them...moments turn into days and days into years. Determine to never stay angry at one another. Keep things right and allow the Lord to give you a joyful life in Him.
Until next time, here are some photos for you to enjoy!

The Escapee (Video)

Not long ago, Abigail learned how to escape the prison of her pack-n-play. Here is a video of how the escape artist accomplishes her feat.
Things are going well for the Troell Family. We are staying extremely busy with life. Quite honestly, there is not a great deal of news to report. Thanks for tuning in today.

Nothing Left to Post

Out of a lack of anything to post, I have relegated myself to put up an image of myself. It is not that we have been doing "nothing," but that so much is going on that we have had a hard time getting any photos of anything. Enjoy this photo as it will be the last one of me for awhile (don't get too excited). It was taken by Mr. Keiter. I was out of town for 8 days recently and have not had the camera to shoot new flics. Thanks for taking the time to check in–-I know you are really busy.

5:45 In the Morning

Alrighty, this is a first for me–a post this early (or late) in the morning. It is nearly 5:45 in the morning and I have been up all night Sunday night working on a special project. I will reveal the secret a little later. Until then here is what I look like this time of day. I usually stay up pretty late each night, but I have never posted on our site this early in the morning. Be sure to mark this wonderful day down in your calendars as the next national holiday. It is definitely time to hit the rack for a couple of hours of shut-eye.
Check out the photo of my tie above. Mom and Dad bought me a beautiful new pinstripe suit from my absolute favorite store, Bachrach. For those of you who have not hit the big 30 yet, just wait, your waistline will begin expanding too! Anyway, the suit is beautiful. It has two different colors of pinstripes–one is brown and one is blue. I love it!!! They bought me a really nice matching tie as well. It is a real slick outfit! Thought I would show a picture of it......more to come! Thanks for tuning in today.

Missing My Family

I am out of town this week until Tuesday evening. As I travel, my heart always wanders back home to my sweet wife and children. I can hardly imagine how quickly this summer has gone. Before we know it, winter will be here and another year will be over. We must make the most of the time the Lord has given us on this earth. We must make our time count for Him. What can you do today that will affect eternity? Sooner than any of us think, we shall go out to meet God. What have you done today to draw closer to the Lord? What have you done today to let your family know that you love them? What have you done to help others draw closer to the Lord? Ask God to help you be the best you can be for His glory.
Thank you, Ryan for the great photo of my family! We love you too!
Until the next post,
ST
