In the Great Country of Texas

On December 23, we loaded up in the van and trekked to the great country of Texas. We made the 1,399 mile journey in just over 24 hours. Jocelyn and I took turns driving and did not stop for anything but food or gas until we reached our destination. Abbie and Katie were perfect angels––no fussing, no nothing!

We are spending some time with my two sisters (Liz and Chris) and brother-in-law (Jason) who live in Lewisville. Jo came from California and Mom and Dad came for a few days from Kansas City. We are having a great time together as a family. We miss Sarah and Micah who live in Tennessee and were unable to make the trip this time. It is wonderful to spend time with family!

Merry Christmas

Window Light

There are a number of reasons for not posting for the last few weeks. I will spare you the many details. Suffice to say, we are unveiling a few new photos in exchange for your patience.

I walked in on Katie looking out the window and just watched her for a few minutes. As you might imagine, I was provided with plenty of childhood curiosity as to why she could see out the glass and yet touch nothing.
