Our Day Out

On Saturday, we went with Shane and Jennifer Bender on an excursion up to a wonderful little getaway in Norris, Tennessee. Norris has a beautiful lake and a famous dam nestled among the rolling hills and lush trees. We took a picnic lunch and enjoyed the beautiful weather. At one point, while we were eating, the clouds rolled in and it started to sprinkle on us, but the Lord moved the rain around us and we did not get wet. After we ate, we walked by the river and simply enjoyed doing nothing! The girls found a cluster of butterflies. What fun they had chasing and playing with them! Here are some photos from the day. Enjoy!

The pictures turned out beautiful. I love the butterfly pics. That was amazing, it made my day. I have never seen that many butterflies together, ever!
I love Katie's pudding! That was hysterical. The pics of Funbina and Abbie are so typical of them together, they are such sweet friends.
