Riding the Carousel

We had a family outing on Tuesday. It consisted of lunch at the food court complete with a carousel ride for the girls. This is an enthusiastic favorite of Abbie's. Katie couldn't care less...she was just along for the ride. We had so much fun together as a family! I love my three girls!

She's Walking!

Katie has begun to walk! Though tottery and not quite stable yet, she is becoming good at getting where she wants to go. Her traveling mode is still half walking and half spider-crawl. It is amazing how quickly children grow! We must seize the moment to work with them and "train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6). Cupcakes with NeeNee

We have spent nearly a week in Kansas City, Kansas with my parents. Earlier in the week, NeeNee (my mother, as affectionately called by Abbie) set about to make cupcakes. Of course, Abbie jumped right in and helped too!

It is such a joy to know that both sets of our children's grandparents are the right kind of influence on them. Both my parents and Jocelyn's parents love the Lord and influence our children to serve Him. Though they are still young, it is important to me that they are influenced by their godly grandparents.

Last Day In Texas

Sunday was our last day in Texas with Jason, Liz, Chris, and Jo. We had a wonderful time together. We drove to Kansas City, KS on Sunday afternoon to be with my parents a few days before heading back to Buffalo.

God has blessed me with a wonderful family for which I am extremely grateful. After church services and before we went to lunch at the Troell's favorite Chipotle, it was decided that we should take some photos together. Here is the result... Enjoy!

We are having a delightful time in Texas with our family. Today, we took the little ones to the park. Auntie Liz and Auntie Chris had to work and we missed having them around. Uncle Jay showed up and made the time at the park complete.
