Our Day Out

On Saturday, we went with Shane and Jennifer Bender on an excursion up to a wonderful little getaway in Norris, Tennessee. Norris has a beautiful lake and a famous dam nestled among the rolling hills and lush trees. We took a picnic lunch and enjoyed the beautiful weather. At one point, while we were eating, the clouds rolled in and it started to sprinkle on us, but the Lord moved the rain around us and we did not get wet. After we ate, we walked by the river and simply enjoyed doing nothing! The girls found a cluster of butterflies. What fun they had chasing and playing with them! Here are some photos from the day. Enjoy!

Sunday School

Every Sunday as we prepare to go to the Sunday services, we sing Sunday School songs and have a great time together amid the chaos of getting our family ready. One of our favorite songs is "Ding, Dong, Sunday School." It is a song about the church bells ringing. When we lived in New York, there was a church down the block which rang it's bells every Sunday morning.

Last Sunday, I took the girls out to the front porch and videoed them singing their favorite song. Abbie did not sing it too loud, and I had to help her, but it was fun!

The second video is of Abbie walking Katie to the van.

Many thanks to Auntie Jenna for the cute little dress for Katie.

Thanks for stopping by!

Little Smiles

Nothing thrills the heart of a parent more than to see their child smile. Here are a couple of pictures I recently snagged of my smiling little girls. We need to enjoy each moment we have with our precious little ones. Thank you for stopping in today!

Bathtime Smiles

Again, I apologize for the web silence. Things have been really busy in preparation for the Crown Bible Conference. We are all still recovering from sickness. The Lord is blessing and we are grateful for His goodness to us. Thank you for stopping by.

Resurrection Sunday

The Lord blessed us with a beautiful Resurrection Sunday this year. Since it came earlier this year, the weather was a little colder than in years past. I took Abbie and Katie out to shoot some photos of them in their new dresses we bought them, but they were a little squirmy, and not wanting to smile due to the cold. These are the best images. Trying to take pictures of my little ones brought back some memories from my childhood of my parents rounding all of us up and herding us outside so Dad could take pictures of us for what seemed two or three hours! What memories! Thanks for stopping by!
